Advent

Advent starts today!! Woo hoo! I'm going to church later this afternoon and I'll get an advent calendar then. I'm excited, we're getting closer to Christmas! I know a lot of people think that Thanksgiving is the start of the Christmas season, but it's really Advent.

Thanksgiving though was awesome. Fried turkey is the bomb and I had a blast (pun intended) helping Wade fry it. Plus, no one burned the school down, double plus good. The food was delicious and I think I about ate my weight, which is good. Gluttony is a sin...except on Thanksgiving when it is not only expected, but encouraged. The time off from school is welcome too. I'm ready for the semester to be over. I feel like I've not had a break in FOREVER, which is basically the truth since I did summer school last summer. I'm not even thinking about summer school this coming year...oops. Crap.

I'm looking for new music, anyone have anything to recommend?

You've probably heard most of my stuff but Tool are good. And The Used and Rise Against. And I have some kind of chilled out stuff, that's all mostly instrumental.

Also, I wound up with a couple of CDs of Yvette's Albanian pop crap. I'll like, give you those, as a present.
