Last summer, I helped fund a kickstarter for braille dice. Like all good nerds, I did some D&D back in college with my roommate, Foggy, and various others. Unlike all the good nerds, I couldn't actually see the dice when I had to roll and other than traditional 6-sided die, they don't come in braille. I relied on my roommate to read them for me.

Now, I don't have to.

I have nearly 3 weeks until I go back to classes, but I went by campus to get my textbooks since they're ready. The disability services department has been converting them for me all summer (which is a bitch and a half, ugh). I get everything else digitally, thank goodness.

I'm taking this art class and it requires all this stuff. Marie-Ange, can I borrow things please? I don't know what yet, but once I know?

I'm not ready for going back though. Summer's not yet over! We need to do something else before the end of summer!!

I am officially done with spring classes! I still have finals, but classes are done! I just got back from campus study sessions for classes and I officially declared my major.

I'm going to major in criminal justice with an idea towards applying to law school after undergrad. I'm excited!

To summer school or not to summer school? I don't HAVE to. And I've taken it for the past uh...3 summers so I could graduate on time.

So it's kinda familiar.

Pros: familiar, get ahead, not sure what else to do over the summer

Cons: familiar, SCHOOL IN THE SUMMER, done it a lot

Suggestions and opinions?

Thank God I don't have a final exam today. I can't imagine trying to explain THIS to my professors!

I fell asleep for a nap yesterday at 4pm.

it's just after 6am and I'm awake. I think I might've been tired. Hm. Now, do I go back to sleep or do I get breakfast first and THEN go back to sleep?

Who else is interested? Maybe over Christmas break?

I can't believe it's already time to think about my classes for next semester. Ugh. Does each semester always go so fast and get everything piled on at once?

what I should be doing: reading the 50 or so pages for English tomorrow.

what I am doing: updating and reconfiguring all my apps on my phone. I got twitter thanks to all this video crap today.

College is awesome. And so completely different from high school. I'm loving it, but I have so much homework! the reading never ends! I was worried about how things would go with my note-taker and getting brailled handouts, but so far it's working out pretty well. We'll see how long that lasts.
