Paying your own way to college sucks more. Quit griping. Considering the Tigers/Yankees game's postponed until tomorrow you can email me as late as Friday because I'm not reviewing them until at least tomorrow night anyway.
I'm not griping. I'm just havig trouble braining and dislike writing more essays on top of the ones already for school. If I have t pay my own way I can't GO to college. so I gotta get these scholatships.
Sorry, kid. You're working that out on your own. Pretty sure I'm not the only one who got the lecture from the Prof about not paying for things for you, since you act irresponsibly with your stipend when you don't have to spend it on necessities. I'm betting that extends to bigger stuff like college.
Yeah, 3.5 years into my college education, man, and I am still paying you back. I worked to more or less put myself through college. The not really my bio dad paying off my loans was an unexpected bonus and just means I can take longer to pay it back than I thought.
Just be careful you don't end up being courted by a school who wants you to make their numbers look nice. I had that happen to me last year.
Apparently with me he could check the boxes female, minority, refugee, mutant and a few others.
You also have the big 'advantage' of having a kind of less scary powers. That way they can look progressive without risking their student being hit by lasers or something.
When I applied to various schools around here, all seemed to know I was a mutant since I had my education both at Xavier's and the school in Attilan. One man asked me straight out in an interview (the reason I didn't go there), but at a few others it was clearly implied.
On the other hand, there are a few scholarships specifically for mutants, if I remember correctly. Mr. Haller gave me some information about that. So you can also use it to your advantage if you want.
Yeah, I've been talking with him about college stuff and I'm writing essays for several different scholarships. Apparently, most (or possibly all) my education is taken care of because I'm blind and I get social security for disability (SSDI) when I turn 18 and end up out of the foster system (I get it now, but not as much, I'll get the full amount then), but scholarships, even for a little money, would be good to help pay for things.
I just wish the scholarship people had more interesting essay topics.
