summer school?

To summer school or not to summer school? I don't HAVE to. And I've taken it for the past uh...3 summers so I could graduate on time.

So it's kinda familiar.

Pros: familiar, get ahead, not sure what else to do over the summer

Cons: familiar, SCHOOL IN THE SUMMER, done it a lot

Suggestions and opinions?

So....that was fun. And worth it getting grounded all summer. Like I had big plans other than summer school anyways?

At least I've got a new cane again and sunglasses. Still need a watch, but whatever. Time is meaningless anyways.

Advent

Advent starts today!! Woo hoo! I'm going to church later this afternoon and I'll get an advent calendar then. I'm excited, we're getting closer to Christmas! I know a lot of people think that Thanksgiving is the start of the Christmas season, but it's really Advent.

Thanksgiving though was awesome. Fried turkey is the bomb and I had a blast (pun intended) helping Wade fry it. Plus, no one burned the school down, double plus good. The food was delicious and I think I about ate my weight, which is good. Gluttony is a sin...except on Thanksgiving when it is not only expected, but encouraged. The time off from school is welcome too. I'm ready for the semester to be over. I feel like I've not had a break in FOREVER, which is basically the truth since I did summer school last summer. I'm not even thinking about summer school this coming year...oops. Crap.

I'm looking for new music, anyone have anything to recommend?

WOOT!!! So, summer school. Sucked ass. I agreed to it, but I had no idea how much time it would take! Geez!

HOWEVER - I have successfully completed one semester of geometry, two semesters of English and one semester of computers with a B-, A and B+. Geometry (so far) has been easier than algebra! I can touch the shapes and that helps a lot!

This means that for the fall I'll be taking:

Chemistry
English III
American History
Spanish II
Dance (wth?)
Public Speaking
Geometry (2nd semester)

So...I'm 16 today. What am I getting for my birthday? Summer school.

I got held back in school when I lost my sight, plus I've had a few scholastic detours in the past few years, which is why I'm turning 16 but am a freshman in high school. Well, I've had a bunch of meetings with my social worker, psychologist, doctors, teachers....pretty much everyone I've ever met and they agreed - if I go to summer school this summer and next summer, I might be able to catch up and graduate at 18. And I agreed too. Fast forward a year of high school if not more? Bitchin'.

I just gotta stay out of trouble between now and then. That's gonna be the hard part.
